2. Data Storage

All data created by TK Scout is stored locally on your device using:

• chrome.storage.local — Chrome's built-in extension storage API
• localStorage — Browser's standard local storage

This includes your video annotations (read/unread status, favorites, tags, notes), custom tag definitions, and extension preferences.

3. Data Export & Import

TK Scout allows you to export your data as JSON or CSV files. These files are generated locally in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. No data passes through our servers.

4. Website Access

TK Scout only runs on ads.tiktok.com/creative/inspiration/* pages. It does not access or modify any other websites. The extension requires this specific host permission solely to inject its annotation interface into the TikTok Creative Center.

5. Third-Party Services

TK Scout does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no external API calls, no telemetry endpoints, and no data sharing of any kind.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete all TK Scout data at any time by:

• Using the "Clear Data" button in the extension popup
• Uninstalling the extension (this removes all stored data)
• Clearing your browser's local storage data

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
